Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Practise in real-life situations is a unique advantage of learning a language in the country where it is spoken. The Community Connection Projects developed by the South Australian College of English (SACE) are designed to provide students with just that opportunity. During a recent visit to The Whitsunday Times, Airlie Beach's local newspaper office, SACE students were given a guided tour and the chance to review their interview techniques and questions with the Whitsunday Times' editor and journalists. Returning to school, the students then confidently produced their own “Witty Whitsundays News”.

Melina Matuck from Brazil was another SACE Whitsundays student to hit the media spotlight recently, when she took part in a live interview with Australian Broadcasting Commission Radio. The interview was as part of a special interest story on overseas students studying in regional Australia. In it, Melina talked about her experiences learning English at SACE and happy memories of the Whitsundays region.
