10 May 2012

Quality Language Schools Worldwide

For the second year in a row, Langports students have won Best Individual Speaker and taken 1st place in the team debates of the Brisbane English Speaking Union. The debates are an initiative started by the English Australian Queensland branch of the ESU, in which a team of students from three different countries debates a topic and judges award scores. 2012 was the 2nd year that the debates have taken place in Brisbane.

English language schools from across the city were invited to the ESU headquarters to compete. The winning Langports team members came from Switzerland, France, and Spain. Last year’s winners were from Taiwan, Germany, and South Korea.

Congratulations to Josephine Chamoulaud from France who won the Best Individual Speaker on an unprepared topic and to the debating team of Dominik Keller (Switzerland), Neus Roma Marfa (Spain) and Josephine Chamoulaud (France).
