As of October 2011, IALC has a new Spanish language school member in Spain. Giralda Center Spanish House, based in Seville, has been successfully inspected and fully meets IALC’s quality standards.
Giralder Center, which was founded in 1983, is located in the historic centre of Seville and delivers Spanish language courses for all ages. All courses include two cultural activities per week, a book and film loan service, one-to-one attention through tutorial sessions and a variety of optional weekend excursions.
Commenting on IALC’s latest member, executive director Jan Capper said: “It is a great asset for IALC to have this high-quality Spanish language school and beautiful city in our association.”
Eduardo Álvarez de Cienfuegos, Director of Giralda Center commented: ”It is an honor and a pleasure for both the school and myself to become a member of IALC. I have always had a great deal of respect for the work of my IALC colleagues in Malaga, Luis Carrión of Idiomas Nerja, and Ida and Bob of Malaca Instituto, and this was what first led me to apply to IALC for membership. After the visit of IALC president Alexandra Borges De Sousa to our school and having learnt more about the organization, we are very happy to be working with an association of such professional people.“
