First Year Success for SACE WorkOZ Programme

23 August 2006

Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Since its introduction in 2005, the South Australian College of English (SACE) WorkOZ Study Programme has proved very popular, helping students on Working Holiday Visas to improve their English and find work in Adelaide or the Whitsundays.

One Japanese student recently completed her course at the Whitsundays College of English and started a work placement with a local tour operator, assisting passengers travelling to the Great Barrier Reef or Whitehaven Beach on large catamarans. With the help of the Whitsundays College of English WorkOZ Study Programme counsellors, she applied for a Tax File Number and wrote a CV and letters of application. The English language school also coached her in interview techniques and prepared her for entry into the Australian work environment.

SACE has good contacts with employment agencies and companies, who value SACE students for their multi-lingual skills and dedication, their eagerness to learn and desire to experience the Australian work environment.
