ELC Bristol has passed its latest British Council inspection with maximum points: it was awarded 15 'areas of strength', the highest score possible.
Out of more than 500 accredited centres, ELC Bristol now tops the UK rankings with the Wimbledon School of English.
"We are very grateful to the entire ELC team and the members of staff who have been with us for so many years," says ELC Principal John Duncan.
ELC offers courses in general English for adults (16+) in the fashionable university city of Bristol in the West of England.
Strengths were noted in the areas of staff management, publicity, student administration, quality assurance, premises and facilities, learning resources, academic staff profile, academic management, course design, learner management, teaching, care of students, accommodation, leisure opportunities and care of under 18s.
