Eastbourne School Of English appoints new Academic Manager

Jenny Johnson joined Eastbourne School of English in January 2013 as Academic Manager. Jenny has extensive experience in academic management. She worked for many years at International House Barcelona, where her positions included Director of Studies and Head of Teacher Training. In 2006 she relocated to the UK and worked for Cactus first as Head of Cactus TEFL and then Academic Director of Cactus Worldwide.

Jenny is a champion of teacher development and is strongly involved in IATEFL. She is a regular conference speaker, has written a number of articles and contributed to a number of published books, her latest being a chapter for a forthcoming Cambridge ESOL publication on Trainee Teachers’ Linguistic Competence. She holds an MA in ELT, BEd in English & Education and International Diploma in Language Teaching Management as well as CTEFLA and DTEFLA.
