Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Dominion English Schools Auckland received Category 1 status in its report from the New Zealand Qualifications Authority (NZQA) in April, after a 2-day inspection in February.

Pictured are Martin Wall, Principal/General Manager and Kirstin Brown, Director of Studies with the summary page of the NZQA report, which cites Dominion as ‘Highly Confident in educational performance’ and ‘Highly Confident in capability in self-assessment’.

This means that Dominion maintains the Category 1 status it has held since first assessed by the NZQA in 1991.

Category 1 schools are only inspected every 4 years, whereas schools in categories 2, 3 and 4 have more regular inspections. In each area of educational performance and capability for self-assessment, schools are graded as Highly Confident, Confident, Not Yet Confident or Not Confident. Category 1 schools must score Highly Confident in at least one area and Confident in the other. So Dominion is as good as it gets.

The full report can be seen here.

"We are delighted", says Martin Wall, Principal/General Manager of Dominion. "Every audit we have had by NZQA, IALC and English New Zealand has confirmed that over a very long period of time, Dominion has maintained its standards as a leading English Language school."
