A new course from Canterbury Language Training (CLT) in the UK fine-tunes executive English communication skills to achieve better business performance. Fine Tuning is a two-day programme for senior managers at advanced level, dealing with language, culture and behaviour issues.

Many senior international managers with advanced English communication skills are conscious of still making language ’mistakes’ and are not sure which of these might be important. Sometimes they are not language, but cultural issues, and the reaction of communication partners is not as expected. As the success of a deal often hinges on very fine details of communication and behaviour, senior executives need to be sure that their approach to relationship-building in English is effective.

The programme, which was originally developed in 2008 for the human resources director of a Swedish bank and the chief financial officer of a French company, is now now offered as part of the CLT courses portfolio.
