CIAL becomes accredited by Camoes IP for the teaching of Portuguese as a Foreign Language in Portugal.

CIAL Centro de Linguas, is the first Portuguese school to become accredited by Camoes IP for the teaching of Portuguese as a Foreign Language in Portugal.

The accreditation process includes an on-site inspection which CIAL passed successfully with a total of 98 points out of 100. The protocol was signed by the heads of both institutions on 22 May 2014.

"This is the type of recognition we've been waiting for for a long time, and we are extremely proud of being the first" says Alexandra Borges De Sousa, Managing Director of the school.

The evaluation and accreditation system developed by the Camoes IP, an associated member of EAQUALS, was born out of the need to recognise and complement the EPE network, on the teaching of Portuguese worldwide.

Accredited schools carry the Camoes IP logo in recognition of the quality of their teaching and benefit from access to pedagogical resources.
