Privately owned English language provider, CCEL Auckland, is the only centre in Australasia to win a 2016 Cambridge English Language Assessment award for preparation centres.
Just 14 Cambridge preparation centres in the world won awards, which recognise the centres’ valuable contributions and outstanding achievements, and are based on demonstrated best practices throughout the year. There are more than 52,000 registered preparation centres in more than 130 countries.
"We are delighted to have received recognition from Cambridge English Assessment for what we do at CCEL Auckland," said Principal Paul O’Farrell.
"Over the last four years, we have refined our Cambridge preparation courses to ensure our students get the best support and customer service. We may not be the biggest preparation centre in Australasia but I really do believe that our teaching team offers something very special."
CCEL celebrates its 25th anniversary this year. It has campuses in Auckland and Christchurch, and offers a range of English language courses for international students. The school is also the official English language provider for the University of Canterbury, and is a key entry point for international students wishing to prepare for their academic studies at UC and UC International College (UCIC).
