IALC will mark its presence at the 2007 StudyWorld Workshop in London in September with a language school village in the workshop hall and an evening reception with a prize draw. Around 30 IALC language schools are attending the international agent workshop organised by English UK, which is taking place in London for the first time.
For the first time also, Studyworld will group members of associations together in villages in the workshop hall, making them easier for agents to find. More than 20 IALC language schools from around the world are joining the IALC village, while other members will be located elsewhere in the hall.
The traditional IALC party starts at 6.30pm on September 4 in the Westminster Suite of the London Hilton Metropole, where StudyWorld takes place. At 7.30pm there will be a prize draw for agents for free participation for two at the 2008 IALC 25th anniversary workshop in Munich at the luxury Dorint Sofitel Hotel. To take part in the draw, agents should simply hand their business card to an IALC staff member as they enter the Westminster Suite.
With Munich as the 2008 IALC Workshop destination, the StudyWorld party will have a German theme, with Bavarian beer and nibbles plus the chance to meet Florian Meierhofer of BWS Germanlingua, the 2008 IALC Workshop host, and some of the German language schools offering agent fam trips in Germany and Austria following the 2008 IALC workshop.
Party information and invitations, including directions to the Westminster Suite, will be available from IALC members in the IALC village at StudyWorld and can also be downloaded here. See the links below.
