A group of agents joined the IALC Executive Board and directors of Galway Cultural Institute, hosts of the 2010 IALC workshop, for an inaugural IALC agent dinner in Berlin in November. The broad aim of the dinner is to bring senior IALC representatives together with IALC partner agencies and prospective partner agencies for a pleasant evening and fruitful exchange.

"We plan to do this once or twice a year," says Walter Denz, IALC President. "As the evening progressed, we were asked about IALC’s future direction and then discussed quality assurance in language schools and how agents select their partners."

Thought-provoking discussion blended with light conversation and laughter and for some, an after-dinner drink or two in the Intercontinental Hotel bar.

The invited agencies, all attending ICEF Berlin, are among the most productive for IALC schools and most experienced in the language travel industry.
