The Demi Pair programme operated by Access Language Centre in Sydney will include new options in 2005. Students taking this programme on the working holiday visa will be able to work in cities other than Sydney.
Previously students on the programme lived and worked with a family while completing a 12-week English course at Access Language Centre in the Australian capital of Sydney.
This option remains, but students may now also
complete their 12-week English course at Access first and then spend three to nine months living and working with a family elsewhere n Australia, where they will receive free accommodation and food and a minimum AUD $120 per week pocket money.
