Linguadue Milan offers a very good selection of accommodation to meet students’ needs. All accommodation is at a maximum distance of 30 minutes by public transportation from the school. All accommodation used by Linguadue in Milan has been inspected and carefully selected by our school accommodation officer.

Off the beaten tourist tracks Milan still offers a wide range of museums with invaluable masterpieces. Milan boasts a richness and unique variety of museums. Amongst these is the most prestigious, the Pinacoteca di Brera and not to be missed Leonardo Da Vinci’s Last Supper! 

Eating out:

Milanese love food and eating out. Though stressed by time and work they love starting their day with a ‘colazione al bar’ (breakfast), having a short break at lunch time and to round off the working day with an aperitivo. Milano is truly international food wise and you can enjoy a typical risotto Milanese as well as a good sushi. Milanese love both!

Milan is shopping. Milan is known all over the world as one of the temples of high fashion. It is a great and beloved shopping destination.

Music & Theatre:

Since its inauguration in 1778, La Scala is one of the most important opera houses in the world. Milano has an ample cultural offer that includes opera, drama, modern dance, ballet, cabaret, musical and shows dedicated to children.

Nightlife:

‘Work hard, party hard’, Milan’ nightlife has a diverse and lively club scene. Usually, parties start on Thursdays, and that party atmosphere continues until Sunday nights. Milan has hundreds and hundreds of bars, pubs, cafés, and wine cellars. Milan’s nightlife scene is lively, rich and varied.

Individual Preparatory Course for CILS Exam in Florence, 10 Lessons per week

Linguadue organizes throughout the year one-to-one preparatory courses for CILS Examination. The individual course will allow you to focus on strengthening your knowledge, understand the areas you need to work on the most and will prepare you to pass the exam successfully. CILS Certification at B1/B2 level is recognized by the Italian Ministry of Education and can grant acceptance in any Italian University or higher education institution in Italy. Holders of a B1/B2 CILS certification are exempted from taking the Italian language test which is mandatory for Academic studies in Italy.

During your stay in Milan you will have the possibility to experience the social and cultural life through a programme of cultural and leisure activities organized by Linguadue. Linguadue offers several activities a week, these usually include guided visits to the most important museums and galleries, lectures on various aspects of contemporary Italian culture and society, a selection of famous Italian movies shown regularly at school, evenings out for aperitivo in trendy cafés, walks in typical and interesting areas of Milan.
