Our General English programs will enhance your skills in speaking, listening, reading, writing, grammar, vocabulary, and functional English. Our classes are tailored to meet your individual needs, and we focus on teaching real-world English using a practical, communicative approach. We also supplement our teaching with activities from real-life environments and contexts.
Choose between Intensive 23-hour per week or Semi-Intensive 20-hour per week.
Cambridge Exam Preparation Courses- PET, FCE, CAE, and CPE
These qualifications are recognised by more than 15,000 universities, employers, and governments worldwide (including the Australian Government’s Department of Home Affairs), making Cambridge English qualifications highly prized and globally accepted. Our Cambridge courses are tailored to enhance students' English language skills and boost their confidence, empowering them to pursue further academic, professional, and career opportunities. Our courses include a Cambridge Student Retreat experience.
English Academic Program (EAP)
English language skills for academic purposes (EAP) course is designed to provide students with the necessary skills and confidence to enhance their proficiency in the four main communication skills in English: reading, writing, listening, and speaking. It is the perfect course for students who are planning to further at a range of Australian institutions or work in Australia or overseas.
IELTS Preparation
Increasing English language skills in the key IELTS test areas: writing, speaking, listening, and reading. This course develops your language skills in the key IELTS test areas and familiarises you with IELTS question types and success strategies. At the same time, the course increases the accuracy and flexibility of your English grammar, vocabulary, and functional language.
Junior Programs
Our programs provide students the opportunity to make new friends from around the world and to immerse themselves in interesting and high-quality English language classes.
Teacher Training Courses
We provide high-quality Teacher Training courses that can help you qualify for teaching positions both in Australia and abroad. Due to the increasing global demand for English, there are numerous opportunities for qualified English teachers. Our courses offer graduates teaching pathways and practices.
VET and Higher Education Pathways
We offer a range of vocational education courses through the Business College at IH (ihBC). In 2023, we opened PBL Education Pty Ltd, trading as the International Graduate Institute, or IGI which offers a variety of Higher Education qualifications for future leaders at IH Sydney Campus.
