Established in 1979, BEET is one of the UK’s top independent, family-run English language schools. With 12 British Council ‘Strengths’, we’re proud to be an EL Gazette Centre of Excellence.
BEET is located in a multi-award-winning coastal resort, the vibrant university town of Bournemouth.
We offer a range of Face-to-Face courses for students of 16 upwards. There is no upper age limit, and we frequently welcome mature students to the school. We’re looking forward to reintroducing our boutique 40+ course from July 2022.
All accommodation is within easy walking distance of the school. We offer homestay, executive homestay, student house, hotel, or summer residence options.
We offer a full, free, social programme a minimum of 5 nights a week as well as regular, teacher-led Saturday excursions.

We take our accommodation very seriously, we have a full-time accommodation & welfare officer as well as 2 other part-time members of staff to ensure standards are kept high.
All accommodation is within walking distance of the school. We have a large number of experienced host families offering both standard and executive accommodation year-round. We also have 4 of our own student houses. During high season we also offer Student Apartment accommodation.
