Il primo treno francese TGV trans-rapid in arrivo da Parigi \u00e8 stato accolto calorosamente dai cittadini di Stoccarda, che hanno celebrato l'occasione con un weekend di festeggiamenti, tra cui un concerto all'aperto sulla Schlossplatz. Viaggiare in TGV \u00e8 un'ottima alternativa ecologica all'aereo: il viaggio dura solo tre ore e quaranta minuti, con una velocit\u00e0 massima di 320 km\/h. Attualmente ci sono tre collegamenti giornalieri, con un quarto previsto a partire da dicembre 2007.
