Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Joining the festivities at the Kai Japanese Language School annual summer party in Tokyo on July 29 were current students, graduates, teacher trainees, conversation club members and Japanese supporters of the school. The students from around the world warmly embraced this year's party theme - Kai's World Expo - singing traditional songs from their home countries. With a beer in hand and the knowledge that summer holidays started the next day, the students' Japanese conversation flowed better than ever!

Another annual event taking place at Kai this month is the three-week Japanese summer course. The programme includes Japanese grammar & conversation, preparation for the Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) Levels 1 & 2 and Japanese business communication. The August programme draws people from all walks of life to Kai, including university students, businessmen and language teachers, turning the Tokyo language school into a bustling, multicultural environment for learning Japanese at all levels. Summer course participants also enjoy a dynamic exchange of thoughts and ideas and can participate in different activities that allow them to experience Japanese culture, such as Zen meditation, Japanese sweet-making and wearing Yukata (Traditional Japanese summer wear).
