Accademia Italiana Salerno hosted a fam trip in Salerno on the Amalfi Coast in Southern Italy, 4 -7 November 2015, just after Icef Berlin 2015 workshop.
“This was one of our most succesful event, with 14 international particpant agents coming from Brazil, Turkey, Russia, Ukraine, Kazakistan, UK and Slovenia,” said Director Francesca Romana Memoli. “The programmes gave agents the opportunity over three days to discover and enjoy the Italian culture, cuisine and tradition of a region considered one of the most fascinating in Italy.”
The fam trip started with two guided tours of Salerno, to introduce the city by day and by night, with a visit to the cathedral, S. pietro a Corte, museum and the opening of the wonderful Opera House Teatro Verdi. Then agents took part to an excursions to Pompeii, one of the most ancient archaeological site in the world, situated only 20 minutes from Salerno, and to Amalfi and Ravello, the two gems of the Amalfi Coast. “We got great feedback from agents who appreciated the culture and the breathtaking landscape of this gorgeous region,” explained Romana Memoli, “and of course, we served typical food and traditional recipes so that agents could complete this experience with one of the most important insight of the italian culture: the cuisine.”
During the visit of the school, Accademia italiana, situated in the city centre of Salerno and just in front of the famous promenade of Salerno, agents could meet the staff, learn more about the courses and programs offered, and witness professionalism and the quality of the school.
