Places are still available on the junior vacation English programs for 14-17 year olds at the English Language Center in Boston and Los Angeles. ELC offers residential programs at four campuses: UCLA (Los Angeles), UCSB (Santa Barbara), Wheelock College (Boston, MA) and Dean College (Franklin, MA) from 25 June – 6 August 2011.
Participants experience life as an American university/college student, including classes on campus, dorm life and access to state-of-the-art facilities. On weekday afternoons and all-day Sunday, ELC invites both individual students and groups to take part in social, cultural and athletic activities and excursions with their peers from around the world.
Supplementing the junior program is an optional week-long Exploration Program: the California Cruiser in Los Angeles and the New England Explorer in Boston. UCLA junior students will cruise the coast, soak up the sun and fame of California, while Wheelock junior students will explore beautiful New England and its rich history and culture.
