IALC school ACET in Cork showcases city to students through art

New colorful Cork-themed artwork has been installed throughout the city of Cork, home to IALC language school ACET – Active Centre of English Training, featuring the image of ‘Echo Boy’, an iconic figure for the city.

A mural featuring ‘Echo Boy’ has recently been installed at ACET, pictured above with co-founders Odile Migieu and Pat Coade, and was designed by local artist Kevin O’Brien.

ACET invited the artist to design the piece because they wanted to showcase the city’s most unique features to their students. Finishing touches are currently being added to the mural and will be unveiled to students in the coming days.

As well as outstanding teaching standards and service, all IALC language schools encourage students to immerse themselves in the culture of the city and this is a great example of the IALC methodology in practice.
