ELC Bristol celebrates 50 years of excellence with students

The English Language Centre Bristol held a fantastic 50th anniversary celebration party for the 40,000+ students that have passed through the school's doors since 1969.

Many of ELC Bristol’s ex-students travelled from all over the world to attend the party at the spectacular Avon Gorge Hotel that overlooks the famous Clifton Suspension Bridge, as well as the 200 students studying at the school right now.

ELC Bristol is currently the joint number 1 school in the UK according to the EL Gazette rankings based on British Council inspectors’ publishable statements.

Offering intensive General English courses and Examination Preparation courses for the IELTS and Cambridge exams since 1969, ELC Bristol is a family-run school that has always been about their students, first and foremost, and the party was a great way to celebrate their contribution.

ELC Bristol is located in the South-West of England. With a population of around 450,000 and two major universities, Bristol is the second largest city in the South after London, which is less than two hours away.
