Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Sydney College of English has introduced a new afternoon elective class for full time students who need to do some extra English study before enrolling in one of the school's full time First Certificate courses.

Lead in to FCE has already proved popular. It runs for eight weeks at various times of the year and is taught by an experienced Cambridge examination teacher.

The Sydney school has also launched Preparation for EAP. This Lower Intermediate Academic English course is designed to lead into the regular 12-week EAP1 course. It runs for eight weeks and ends the week before a new EAP1 course begins.

The EAP1 course is recognised for direct English language entry into the AFTA Travel and Tourism College, University of New South Wales foundation studies, Wollongong University College (foundation studies and three-session diploma courses). TAFE NSW, Australian Catholic University (ACUcom diploma programme) and SIBT (Certificate IV and Standard Track Diploma).

The higher level EAP2 course is also recognised by the Australian Catholic University (undergraduate and postgraduate programmes) and the University of Western Sydney (undergraduate and most postgraduate programmes).
