There were six IALC winners at the study travel industry’s 2013 STM Star Awards in September 2013, including two STM Super Stars: organisations that win a Star Award five times.

IALC and its member schools featured 23 times in the short-list for the 2013 STM Star Awards, in which study travel professionals worldwide vote for their peers.

The IALC winners:

ELC Sydney – 2013 Star English Language School Southern Hemisphere

Malaca Instituto – 2013 Star Spanish Language School

Tamwood International Junior Centres – 2013 Star Junior Course for Under 18s

Tamwood International College – 2013 Star English Language School North America

GLS Campus Berlin – 2013 Star German Language School

Mandarin House – 2013 Star World Language School

ELC Sydney and Malaca Instituto join IALC’s Liden & Denz and French in Normandy as STM Super Stars.

“The 2013 STM Star Awards show the depth and quality of IALC members. Whether they offer Chinese in China, junior camps in North America, work and study in Australia, executive programmes in Germany or teacher training in Spain, they all meet strict international quality standards,” says Jan Capper, IALC executive director.

“It is a real honour to receive this award, which I do on behalf of all my staff who deserve this for the high standard of their work, their enthusiasm and dedication, many of them having worked with me all their professional lives. This is something which is not easy to come across in today’s world. This is a very happy moment and is a recognition of high quality work day after day."
