IALC Plans Global Reach...

In recent months IALC has welcomed 3 in-country representatives into its fold. Bursting with enthusiasm and ideas they are helping to raise awareness of IALC in their respective markets, doing deals and assisting agents with training and information.

Meet them here:

Introducing: Pamela Villaseñor

  1. Representing which region/country: Mexico & Latin America
  2. Years of experience in the Study Travel industry: 
    It will 12 this November
  3. Schools or study travel companies/agencies that you have worked for: Universo Educativo (Agent), CLASS Education (Agent), Mundo Joven (Agent), Emerald Cultural Institute (School)
  4.  Languages spoken: Fluent Spanish, English, A2 Portuguese and A1 Russian (thanks to Liden&Denz!) 
  5. One interesting thing that most people don’t know about me: I have a deep love for nature and animals and a life dream is to go to Africa.I love crime and "paranormal" podcasts, series and books. I owe Stephen King sleeping with the lights on in some hotels.

Introducing: Anderson Bertin da Silva

  1. Representing which region/country: Brazil 
  2. Years of experience in the Study Travel industry: 
    Since 2011, around 7 years! 5 to 6 years as an agent, 3 years living in Australia, 1 year as Brazilian offshore representative.
  3. Schools or study travel companies/agencies that you have worked for: Egali (Agent), Academia de Intercâmbio (Agent), S7 Intercâmbio (Agent), Langports (School) 
  4. Languages spoken: Portuguese (native), English (fluent), Spanish (Basic) 
  5. One interesting thing that most people don’t know about me:
    I am fascinated about people and want to see everybody happy (impossible task... I know). As relationships are one of the biggest challenges in our lives, my goal is to find the perfect balance and please everyone.  
    I also like coffee and pizza, but I guess we all do!
    I may be a bit humourist as well...

Introducing: Shun Hayashi

  1. Representing which region/country: Japan

  2. Years of experience in the Study Travel industry: 2.5 years
  3. Schools or study travel companies/agencies that you have worked for: Langports (Australia)
  4. Languages spoken: Japanese and English
  5. One interesting thing that most people don’t know about me: I have over five years of English teaching experience for Japanese students and have completed the Master of Applied Linguistics in TESOL. Thus, I am extremely passionate about helping international students to achieve their learning goals and life goals through offering quality language courses and experiences.
