Alberto Sampere, fundador del Estudio Sampere y del IALC, falleci\u00f3 en Alicante el 6 de noviembre de 2005. Dedic\u00f3 su vida a los idiomas, siendo pionero en la ense\u00f1anza del espa\u00f1ol en Madrid en los a\u00f1os 50, as\u00ed como en los viajes ling\u00fc\u00edsticos por Espa\u00f1a. Siempre visionario, Alberto fund\u00f3 la IALC en 1983. Fue el primer Presidente de la Asociaci\u00f3n y m\u00e1s tarde Presidente Honorario Vitalicio. Cuando se retir\u00f3 de la direcci\u00f3n activa del Estudio Sampere, el grupo familiar de escuelas de espa\u00f1ol que fund\u00f3 en 1956 y que ahora dirige su hijo, Juan Manuel, Alberto se convirti\u00f3 en el Defensor del Pueblo del IALC. A lo largo de su participaci\u00f3n en el IALC, su energ\u00eda, visi\u00f3n e inteligencia fueron inspiradoras. Alberto Sampere fue un gran educador, un pilar de la comunidad ling\u00fc\u00edstica y un hombre \u00edntegro como una roca.
