Quality Language Schools Worldwide

2013 is a special year for Melton College, York, the oldest private English language school in the North of England. On 16 April it will be 50 years since the first student arrived at Melton College and the occasion is being marked with a series of scholarships.

Melton College is awarding 50 weeks of scholarships, consisting of an English language course with accommodation, to students who could not otherwise take a course. Melton’s 50th anniversary will be celebrated in various others ways throughout the year, with the main event taking place in October.

The scholarships will be arranged in collaboration with the College’s network of agents. To become involved, an agent must be actively working with Melton College. After their course the students will be asked to write a short piece about their time in York. For the youngest scholarship student, taking one of Melton Colleges junior courses, this will be very short!
