Quality Language Schools Worldwide

Kingsway English Centre and Lacunza are the latest independent language centres to join IALC after successful inspections.

Located in Worcester in the UK, Kingsway English Centre specialises in quality short courses for adults throughout the year, and welcomes teenagers in the summer. The school has a great network of good homestays in the city centre.

Lacunza offers a range of Spanish language courses for teenagers and adults including DELE preparation in San Sebastian. Popular activities include surf, kayak, stand-up paddle, football and gastronomy. Summer courses are available for juniors as well as teenagers.

Kingsway director Sue Johns explains what it means to become part of IALC: "Small, family-run schools such as Kingsway are an endangered species. By joining IALC we are aligning ourselves with the best independent schools in the world and thereby strengthening our own position in the market. We are delighted to belong to an organisation whose core values chime with our own and we are looking forward to meeting other members in Rouen."

"We share many issues in common with other IALC schools, like accommodation, families, activities. Sharing ideas in these domains will help us develop solutions and new ideas for our school," explains Lacunza Director, Carlos Lacunza.

It comes as no surprise that both schools are highly rated by study travel agencies. Christian Graf at Boa Lingua, Switzerland describes Lacunza as "Very personal, very dedicated", while Delia Bas Mataix of Englandamedida praises Kingsway for its professional environment, quality teaching and good nationality mix. "They are a very efficient and collaborative team," she confirms.

Agents attending the IALC Workshop in Rouen on 23-26 April will meet the owners of both schools.
