IALC has a strong presence at three leading language travel events in September 2008, with villages at the Alphe and StudyWorld workshops in London and an aisle of booths at the World Youth and Student Travel Conference (WYSTC) in Brooklyn, New York.
At StudyWorld 2008, which takes place from 8 to 10 September at the London Hilton Metropole Hotel, around 32 language schools will join the IALC village, while the IALC exhibition stand in Hall 1 Stand 12 will provide information about the worldwide IALC network of language schools and events for agents, including the 2009 IALC Workshop in Milan and post-workshop fam trips in Italy. Agents visiting the stand can enter a competition for two free places at the 2009 IALC Workshop.
A record number of IALC schools will attend Alphe London at the Victoria Park Plaza from 5-7 September, where IALC is represented by Executive Director Jan Capper. IALC features strongly in the LTM Star Awards for the language travel industry, held by Alphe organisers Hothouse Media on 6 September at The Brewery, London.
In his first official role as IALC Vice President - Promotion, Wolfgang Graser, Director of Good Hope Studies in Cape Town, will represent IALC at WYSTC 2008 in New York from 13-17 September.
