Brazilian agents volunteer in Cape Town

Cape Town based Good Hope Studies welcomed counsellors from Brazil as part of a familiarisation trip to South Africa. The counsellors visited the two Good Hope Studies campuses in Cape Town, saw the student accommodation, and experienced tourist attractions including Table Mountain and the Cape of Good Hope.

"Agent familiarisations are the best type of marketing we can offer to our agents. Counsellors can see for themselves the quality of our facilities and the fantastic atmosphere at our schools," said Phillip McIntyre, General Manager. "Brazilian students enjoy our beaches, entertainment options and nationality mix," added Jorge Baron, Marketing Manager for Latin America.

In addition, the counsellors experienced first hand what it is like to be a volunteer at Good Hope Studies’ Athlone Children’s Home programme. They played African drums and made Carnival masks with the children. They brought a bit of Brazil to South Africa and a bit of joy to the children, which is what volunteering is all about. "Our experience is that volunteer programmes such as this are becoming more popular with Brazilians," said Phillip McIntyre, General Manager.
