Agents continue the fantastic feedback on IALC fam-trips throughout Italy after IALC Bologna Workshop

The IALC 2018 Bologna Workshop brought representatives of 146 IALC schools to meet over 150 agencies from 40 countries as well as top industry service providers offering solutions in technology, insurance, international payments, logistics and more for an unforgettable IALC experience in Italy.

Following the spectacular close to #IALC2018 40 agents departed on three fam-trips to IALC-accredited schools in Trieste and Milan, Florence and Rome and Tropea and Salerno.

Eva Brodszky from Hungarian agency OTP Travel was a part of the fam-trip to Trieste and Milan and said:

"Following the very successful and richly eventful IALC Bologna Workshop, I took part in the fam-trip to Trieste and Milan. I can only use words of praise, as the trip was so carefully organised, including cultural and historical visits even on the way from Bologna to Trieste – Aquileia, with expert guiding in English, in the famous ancient Basilica, which is World Heritage Site. In Trieste, Simone Rainer and Marta Romanelli gave us a warm welcome, introducing their marvelous city with all the secrets and beauties, while also treating us to a highly entertaining, professionally communicative Italian lesson, in their cosy and charming boutique school."

"In Milan, Giorgia Biccelli, with her friendly, professional staff, welcomed us also with a warm and open heart, guiding us through the elegant and bustling city of business and fashion, delighting us with typical Italian pizza and ice cream, and even organising awalking tour on the marble roofs of the world famous Duomo. Both schools, Piccola Universitá Italiana in Trieste and Linguaviva in Milan, did their utmost to offer the internationally mixed agent group an unforgettable experience, introducing us to their excellent school and its region, with all the cultural and historical aspects, including the famous Italian gastronomy, with all its flavours and colours – thus fulfilling the fam-trip mission to the full, leaving memorable impressions in all agent participants, who can then pass on all this knowledge and rich experience to their prospective, interested student clients. Mille, mille Grazie!"

Mr Janne Myrhaug from agency Language Abroad was a part of the fam-trip to Florence and Rome and said:

“The fam-trip to Florence and Rome was amazing. We experienced an inspirational cooking lesson in Florence, dinner at an Osteria where we of course were served steak Fiorentina. We had guided tours in Florence and wonderful visits to the schools. As a first-timer to Rome, I must say that the stay here was magnificent. We had a language lesson at school, had two wonderful sightseeing tours in Rome, experienced Foro Romano at night for a spectacular show and had “Spaghettata di mezzanotte” at school. A wonderful experience and lovely hosts!”

Mr Karel Klusak from agency INTACT went on the fam-trip to Salerno and Trope and said:

“The fam-trip to Salerno and Tropea was excellent, the organisers let the agents experience the atmosphere of Salerno and Tropea. Perfect organization, great sights, delicious food, one of the best fam-trips I have ever been to!”

IALC would like to thank all the IALC-accredited schools for hosting three fantastic fam-trips in Italy and to all the agents for their excellent feedback. We are delighted you had such tremendous experiences!

The countdown for the IALC 2019 Seville Workshop has now begun.
