Activities in Dublin for Delegate Companions

We hope you are looking forward to your trip to Dublin as part of IALC’s Dublin Workshop.

Whilst you are not participating in the day events of the workshop, we would like to help you make the most of your time in Ireland.

Please find below an array of suggested day activities that may be of interest.

Dublin City Sightseeing: Hop-on, Hop-off Tour (hop-on-hop-off-bus.com) - Hop-on Hop-off buses are a great, cost-effective way of seeing the whole city. The bus stops at many of Dublin’s main attractions or you can just stay on the bus and take in the city. The bus is fitted with an audio guide which is available in multiple languages and you can “hop-on” and “hop-off” the bus as many times as you like during your ticket duration (tickets are available for 24 /48/ 72 hours).

Dublin is of course famous for Guinness and it’s world-famous whiskey and both the Guinness storehouse and several distilleries are just a short walk from the centre of Dublin. Tickets for entry and tours can be found on the links below:

If you would like to explore outside of the city and see some of Ireland’s world-famous coast, this 4 hour tour includes a guided walking tour taking in the breath-taking views of the cliffs of Howth and then free time to explore beautiful Howth Village at your leisure.
