The Capital City of Malta
Valletta was established in the 1500s and is known for its grand churches, beautiful palaces and museums. It is the capital city of Malta and is a fabulous and historical location to practice your language skills.
This large and historically significant destination is both picturesque and brimming with history while retaining much of its 16th century elegance. The beautiful old town still has a lot of its traditional Maltese qualities, with mesmerising 17th century buildings and piazzas to visit accompanied by a great selection of first-rate restaurants and cafes.
Packed with sights and history
It is a small city but it is packed with sights too and Unesco recognised the city as a world heritage site, describing it as ‘one of the most concentrated historic areas in the world’. The Renzo Piano – designed City Gate, Parliament Building and Opera House gives an alternative to the historical buildings that decorate the city, Valetta will also been recognised the status of European Capital of Culture for 2018!
Learning Spanish in St Paul’s Bay is a truly memorable language learning experience with its background of historical buildings and the preservation of its century old structures as well as its dedication to culture.
