The 2022 IALC Workshop in Berlin. 23-25 May 2022
The IALC Workshop in Berlin this year was a huge success with more than 200 delegates attending. We would like to thank GLS for hosting the Workshop and BWS for supporting. For many, this was the first industry event people had attended this year. The IALC Workshop has always been more than just the business appointments in the daytime. Every IALC Workshop is unique in giving delegates a taste of the host city. We were able to showcase the vibrancy of Berlin in gorgeous sunshine. The atmosphere at an IALC Workshop is so much more than just about the networking, it is a meeting of friends. After two long years, it was good to meet our industry friends and partners again.
We cannot wait to welcome you again in Dublin next year!

IALCA in November 2021
Justin Quinn from CES was on hand to represent IALC schools at the Italian workshop IALCA in November 2021. He gave excellent presentations to Italian students and also agents, and along with Adriana Piva of DILIT, met agents and students on IALC's behalf. The IALC Edvisor Virtual Workshop, November 2020
IALC's first ever online Workshop collaboration with booking platform Edvisor has been a success. This workshop was held exclusively for IALC Approved Agents and IALC member schools.
With webinars from Edvisor and more than 1700 zoom meetings over 2 days across many times zones, it was a meeting marathon for all who took part. IALC would like to thank all those who took part and we hope that this workshop will help to start your 2021 positively with new contracts and new business partners.
The IALC Edvisor Virtual Roadshow, Mexico, 26 August 2020
While we wait for the coronavirus to loosen its grip on the world, we can still plan ahead for the future. This virtual roadshow was hosted by IALC and Edvisor and was in association with AMTE. Some of the best independent language schools from around the world met with top Mexican agents in a series of pre-arranged, one-to-one meetings via the online Marcom platform. There was also a seminar from Edvisor and it felt great to see so many schools building partnerships for the future! Thank you to all schools and agents that attended the event.
The IALC Edvisor Virtual Roadshow, Colombia, 19 August 2020
Following on from the success of our first ever virtual roadshow in Turkey, IALC and Edvisor hosted the Colombia virtual Roadshow in association with ANEX. The virtual roadshow format, in which participants have a full day of 20 minute online meetings via the Marcom platform is proving to be an excellent and cost-efficient way for study travel agents to do business with top-quality agents from all around the world. The IALC Edvisor Virtual Roadshow, Turkey, 29 July 2020
As life adjusts to a new normal, IALC hosted its first Virtual Roadshow with Edvisor, the leading technology provider in the education travel industry, and our agency partners of UED, Turkey. The event took place online on the Marcom platform with 20 minute online meetings for a small group of IALC-accredited schools and agents. There was also a seminar from Edvisor and 100% attendance at all meetings! Thank you to all schools and agents that attended the event.
IALC Auckland Workshop, 26 March 2020
It is with great sadness that IALC was forced to cancel the 2020 Auckland Workshop as the Coronavirus Covid 19 swept across the world, closing borders and preventing travel. The IALC team had worked so hard to organise what was shaping up to be yet another spectacular event and the IALC member schools were looking forward to meeting up with a group of hand-picked quality agents from Asia and around the world. Although our schools were unable to meet agents face-to-face, they were able to arrange meetings with agency partners they had been scheduled to meet.
IALC 2019 Taiwan Roadshow, 28 May 2019
The IALC Taiwan Roadshows brought representatives of 13 schools to meet over 38 agencies in Taipei on Tuesday 28 May 2019. The Workshop consisted of one-to-one meetings with representatives of high-quality language schools from across Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and the USA.
IALC 2019 Japan Roadshow, 31 May 2019
The IALC Japan Roadshow brought representatives of 13 schools to meet 31 agencies at the Hyatt Regency Tokyo Hotel in Tokyo on Friday 31 May 2019. Agencies met with IALC-accredited language centres from across the Australia, Austria, Canada, France, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, the UK and the USA.
IALC Seville Workshop, 28 - 31 March 2019
The IALC 2019 Seville Workshop brought representatives of over 100 IALC schools to meet with 121 agencies from 40 countries as well as 20 top industry service providers offering solutions in technology, insurance, international payments, logistics and more for an unforgettable IALC experience in Seville.

IALC 2019 Mexico Roadshow, 1 February 2019
At the IALC 2019 Mexico Roadshow, study travel agencies from Mexico met a fantastic variety of schools at the Hilton Mexico City Reforma Hotel on Friday 1 February 2019. The event was fantastic for the 16 IALC schools' that travelled to Mexico City and we thank our Association partners AMTE for their support throughout the week.

IALC 2019 Colombia Roadshow, 29 January 2019
IALC was delighted to welcome a fantastic selection of agencies to the IALC 2019 Colombia Roadshow at the Hilton Bogota Hotel on Tuesday 29 January. The Roadshow was a day packed with excellent business meetings with a fantastic range of owners and directors from 16 IALC accredited language schools.

IALC 2018 Turkey Roadshow (UED), 9-11 November 2018
Both IALC and UED were delighted to welcome a group of carefully selected agents from Istanbul for a one-day Workshop of business meetings with a fantastic selection of high-quality IALC schools. All agencies were members of UED (The Association of International Educational Counselors - Turkey).
The Workshop, IALC-UED Gala Dinner and the UED Agency Awards took place on Saturday 10 November. A big thanks to all that attended the event!

IALC at the Tokyo Expo 2018, 20 - 23 September 2018
The Tokyo Tourism Expo Japan is recognised as the world’s largest Tourism trade fair, gathering decision-makers from the travel, tourism and study travel industries.
IALC attended the event at the Tokyo Big Sight conference centre from 20 - 23 September, along with 6 members of our association, as well as other key supporters of our Association.

IALC Bologna Workshop, 19-22 April 2018
The IALC 2018 Bologna Workshop was one of our biggest ever events which brought representatives146 IALC schools to meet over 150 agencies from 40 countries. The vibrant and historic city of Bologna was a fantastic host to three days of networking, learning and first class IALC entertainment and hospitality.

IALC 2018 Japan Roadshow, 29-30 January 2018
The International Association of Language Centres (IALC) and the Japan Association of Overseas Studies (JAOS) were hosts to the IALC JAOS Japan Student Scholarship Award Ceremony at the Keio Plaza Hotel in Tokyo on Monday 29 January 2018.
This was followed by a roadshow in which 30 Japanese agencies met with 25 IALC language schools for a day of business, networking and opportunities.

IALC 2017 St. Petersburg Roadshow, 16 May 2017
On 16 May 2017, 19 IALC-accredited schools had one to one meetings with over 70 agencies in St. Petersburg. This was followed by a spectacular Gala Dinner held by IALC member Liden & Denz to mark their 25th anniversary and an international agents’ fam trip.
