Langports launches new Platinum Program in Brisbane, Australia

Langports, a family owned school focussing on high-quality, unique & personalised programs, launched last week a new Platinum Program dedicated to 50+ students in its head office school in Brisbane, Australia.

Following a few months of research, competitor analysis & agent surveys, and noticing an increasing demand from the 50+ clientele in the past months, the Langports’ team observed a gap in the Australian market for a General English program designed to meet “mature” students’ needs. Whilst 50+ programs are usually well-known and popular in destinations such as England, Malta or Canada, it appeared that Australia is currently lacking a suitable offer for 50+ students.

Being located in Australia and having close relationships with Aboriginal communities through The Langports Foundation, Langports created an exclusive program aiming 50+ students interested in learning English whilst discovering Australia and its culture.

The program includes 15 hours of General English per week, with Australia as a main study theme (Australian Culture and History, Aboriginal Culture, Travelling in Australia, Australian Sports, Australian Wine, Australian Music & Movies, Australia’s unique wildlife and more), with classes of maximum 10 students. English courses are combined with afternoon activities around Brisbane, the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast, and activities also include a visit to an Aboriginal Community on the weekend. A truly unique experience!

Accommodation in deluxe homestay families or studio apartments can also be provided upon request.   Langports’ new & exclusive Platinum Program will be guaranteed to run in January 2018, and based on the course’s success, the team is already looking forward to offering more intakes in the years to come!

Have a look at the new Platinum Program website – www.platinum.langports.com   Next starting dates: Monday 8th January 2018 for 2 or 4 weeks and Monday 22nd January 2018 for 2 weeks.   For more details, contact alf@langports.com
