English for University course updated in 2015 at The London School of English

14 Oktober 2014

The London School of English has updated its English for University course for 2015.

The course has been lengthened to 8 – 10 weeks per course block, giving students more time to develop the academic skills required for the collaborative research project which concludes each course block.

Recent research shows that universities prefer students who have already studied in the UK. According to British strategy consultancy The Knowledge Partnership, “Onshore international students in the UK applying to study at British higher education institutions are twice as likely to be accepted as those applying from overseas.”

Rosie Ganne from the London School of English adds that students taking an English language course pre-university also gain confidence and are better prepared for the demands of their degree course.

The London School of English offers a free full university application service as part of its English for University and Exam Preparation courses, helping students to apply to the best universities for them, checking their personal statements, arranging university visits and answering any questions.
