ELC Boston receives four awards from Ryugaku Journal

Students learning English with ELC in Boston

The English Language Center (ELC) has received four awards from Ryugaku Journal (RJ) in their Japan Best School Awards for 2015. ELC owns and operates three full-time language centers in Los Angeles, Boston, and Santa Barbara, as well as four summer junior programs at MIT, UCLA, UCSB, and Wheelock College.

ELC Boston was ranked 9th Best School in World in the Overall Category, one of only two US schools to win the award. The best schools were chosen based on the reports of 500 RJ students studying overseas. The criteria were as follows:

1. Teaching and Administrative Support

2. Lessons

3. Accommodation

4. Facilities

5. Environment

In addition ELC received awards for:

Summer Junior Program at UCLA - Best Programs for High School Students Category

ELC Boston - No. 1 in Accommodation Category

ELC Boston - No.1 in Facilities Category
