Accademia Italiana Italian language school has lots of new courses and will present them at the IALC workshop in Galway. Below is a short description of the main ones:
• Courses for Professionals: For professional people who need to improve the Italian language for their work, developing their knowledge of general language and studying the specialised language of their business field. These are tailor made course and can be individual or semi individual, held at Accademia Italiana in Salerno or on the Amalfi Coast. Special rates for the accommodation in 4/5 stars hotels apply.
• Courses for Teachers: There are 3 different kinds of courses with the possibility of combining language courses and glottodidactic lessons. Also on offer is preparation courses for the DITALS certification (official certification for teachers of Italian as a second/foreign language) released by the University for Foreigners of Siena.
• Study Program for groups: The Study program includes an Italian language course and different recreational and cultural activities as well as excursions and guided tours to the fascinating cities of Amalfi, Positano, Pompeii and Paestum. The program also includes accommodation with breakfast within an Italian host family.
• Summer Programme for Juniors: This programme is for students aged 12 to 18 and it takes place in a beautiful residence /village on the Cilento Coast. Students can combine Italian study with a holiday in a popular holiday resort on the Coast.
By attending this program they will experience history, art, music, ceramics, theatre, cooking and enjoy the beautiful beaches and landscapes in Cilento, a traditional and real-life setting. Accommodation and full board is included in the program.
• 50 PLUS:
This program is designed for mature people who want to experience Italian language and culture together with other students of a similar age. It includes the language course and several activities and excursions.
In addition to these courses, Accademia Italiana has doubled its premises within its beautiful prestigious Palazzo Angrisani by the seafront. We currently have a capacity of 120 students, with 14 classrooms, a multimedia room with eight computers all connected to internet (cable and wi-fi), a cinema room, a library with books and videos, and a cafè.
