Bahar Sangar, Agency Sales & CX Manager
Bahar joined Edvisor's global team as Business Development Manager for Turkey and MENA in March 2020. Having begun her career in the financial sector working in global investment banks in the UK, Greece and Turkey, Bahar made the move to the international education sector in 2018 when she joined PeopleCert as their Business Development Manager for Turkey. Her role in Edvisor focuses on developing strong relationships with partner agencies, associations and schools and identifying opportunities to improve these partnerships through Edvisor's technology.

Carolina Costa, School CX Manager
Carolina Costa joined the Edvisor family in early 2022 as the new School Success Manager for Europe taking over the day-to-day account management of Edvisor’s school partners across the region. With over 6 years of experience working with B2B Sales within the international education industry, Carolina brings a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm to her new role as she enters the Ed-Tech sector. Carolina has a real understanding of school recruitment needs through the positions she has held with City Education Group, Oscars International and Malvern House International and she’s applying that experience as she builds relationships with Edvisor’s growing school network across Europe.

Nick Stevenson, Director EMEA at ICEF
Nick has been at ICEF since 2014, and is responsible for business development for the EMEA, helping education and service providers build lasting relationships with quality agents. He studied Spanish & Management at the University of Leeds, including an Erasmus Year at the Universidad Complutense de Madrid, Faculty of Economics & Business.

Since graduation from university in 2008, he has been working within the international education sector, previously in business development positions with Study Travel Magazine and Inline.Marketing. He recently completed a Part-Time MBA at the University of Salford, which included a research project focused upon the future of agents.

Nicola Lutz is a sales trainer and coach specifically for the study abroad sector.
She helps those that need to sell do so in an authentic, customer-led way with integrity. She has the credentials to back it up - 27 year's experience of selling, sales management, sales directorship and training and coaching in international education. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Sales Professionals, which is the highest level they accredit. They also keep her up to date with her own learning of new skills, technology and methods. She is a member of the CPD Accreditation body, which means she focuses on tangible learning outcomes from my training.

On a personal note, she lives on the Kent coast in a beautiful but money pit of an old house and, once she's fed her coffee addiction, she loves nothing more than a beach walk with Bilbo, her cockerpoo dog

Erasmus+ for Language Schools – Internationalisation of Teaching and Learning 

GLS is a teacher training center for German as a foreign language. We strongly believe in lifelong learning and in gaining professional expertise abroad. That's why we train professionals from all over the world, and that's why we too go abroad: Funded by Erasmus+, members of the GLS academic team study best practices by learning languages at schools abroad. 

The European Erasmus+ Project is supporting Language Schools in their strive for improving teaching methods and cooperation with other schools. 

In this workshop Sandra and Stefanie will tell you more about the project “Raising awareness of Cultural Diversity & Improvement of Language Courses” and answer questions like these:

What are the benefits for teachers and learners? And how can language schools raise their participant numbers through these projects? How do schools can start their own projects?

GLS presenters:

Stefanie Hohmann – Director of Studies at GLS & Sandra Weber - Manager Summer Camps & Quality Manager School

Stefanie works in adult education and international education since 15 years and is a part of GLS Language School now for 5 years. She studied in Germany and New Zealand, worked in International Education Management at Universities and as a teacher of German as a Foreign Language. As Director of Studies at GLS she is Course Manager for the German Language Department and has a keen interest in teacher development – and therefore appreciates the possibilities of the Erasmus+  programme for Language Schools. She implemented and coordinates the Erasmus+ programme at GLS together with Sandra Weber.
