Each month we nominate an IALC School and Agent of the Month. There are no set criteria, but our decision is helped by information that you (the school or agent) send to us. For example, you may have reached a particular landmark like an anniversary. Or taken part in a charity event or won a business award. Tamwood International College

Tamwood International College, which has schools in Vancouver and Whistler, Canada, were this month shortlisted for no less than three LTM Star awards: English Language School North America, Innovation  of the Year and Work Experience Provider. 

The innovation nomination came as a result of the Whistler Olympic Fun Program Tamwood created, which combined English classes with a job on Whistler Mountain during the winter of the Olympics, that allowed students to see the events and have free lift passes.

Tamwood, we salute you and congratulations on an outstanding achievement!

 June 2010 IALC Agent of the Month

Alfa-Sprachreisen GmbH

This month our vote goes to Alfa-Sprachreisen GmbH of Stuttgart, Germany, who have long been associated with IALC and are a valued Partner Agent. Gisela Hauter, director of the agency, attended our IALC Workshop in 1984 which was held in Alberto Sampere's living room with just seven schools present at the time! And Ewa Szenfeld, Gisela’s co-director, was at our latest 2010 Workshop in Galway.
