IALC is an association for leading private, independent language schools that teach the language of their country to students from overseas. Our minimum requirements are described here: Quality Assurance

IALC membership expansion is based on a strategic plan. We wish to grow our association slowly and steadily by adding high quality language schools that complement our existing schools.

Currently, our primary objective is to add new languages, new countries and destinations. We are interested in hearing from private schools teaching the language where it is spoken in countries or destinations not currently represented in IALC.

Sometimes, we may recruit a new member in an existing destination, where we have agreed that there is sufficient demand for more than one IALC school. In such cases, we look pro-actively for language schools that are suitable and complementary to our existing group.
