Margate Language Centre is located on the south-east coast of England in the heart of a seaside town, five minutes walk from golden sandy beaches. We offer a full range of courses for adult learners who wish to improve their English for work, for travel or just for pleasure. Facilities include a cellar club with licensed bar, free internet access and multimedia self-study centre. Accommodation is in host families within walking distance of the school or self-catering student residence. We offer a full social programme with half and full day excursions weekly.

Margate is a lovely seaside town on the south-east coast of England and has one of the warmest, driest climates in Britain. The town has miles of beautiful sandy beaches, which offer the perfect location for walking, cycling or jogging. The town centre has many shops, cafes, restaurants, as well as cinemas, theatres and sports facilities. Margate has regular, direct, train and coach services to London. The county of Kent is an excellent location for sightseeing. It is known as the Garden of England, and offers some of England's most beautiful countryside. Amongst the many attractions are Leeds and Dover Castles, the historic town of Sandwich and the cathedral cities of Canterbury and Rochester. A few miles around the coast from Margate lie the neighbouring resorts of Broadstairs and Ramsgate, as well as Westwood Cross shopping centre.
