Ibiza is as famous for its music scene as for its astounding natural beauty, and diverse enough to attract visitors of all ages. Away from the nightlife-focussed resorts of San Antonio and Playa d’en Bossa, another Ibiza awaits.

With an exceptional party lifestyle on one side of the island, Ibiza is renowned for its nightclubs and for being the ministry of sound.

If celebrities, all-night events and glitz and glamour are your thing, then this Ibiza is the perfect backdrop to a Spanish language course. Study by day, party by night. Young and international crowds mingle together in the world’s clubbing capital, giving you the perfect opportunity to make new friends.

For relaxation and a gentler pace of life, be sure to explore the small, white-washed villages and western coastline of Ibiza.

Brimming with tradition, ancient churches and historic, local markets, Ibiza has plenty to offer when you are not swimming in the beautiful Mediterranean. Ibiza Town's old quarter is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, while Las Salinas (the famous Salt Flats) makes an amazing location for photographs. In fact, the landscape is so varied that you'll find yourself in enchanting countryside one minute, and deep rock caves the next.

Ibiza’s cathedral, which dates from the 14th century, combines several architectural styles and contains the Museu Diocesa, with several centuries of religious art. There is a typical white church in each town and these are often home to works of some cultural significance, such as altarpieces, because of their age.

Ibiza has some fantastic mountain bike terrain, with routes at various levels of difficulty. Bikes can be hired and guided tours are available with sunset rides, forest trails and excursions to see Ses Salines Natural Park. Scooter is another popular way to see the island and the interior can also be explored on foot. There are many sailing schools and also diving courses. The island’s situation, climate and facilities make Ibiza an ideal place for sailing.

Within this island playground of urban cool and rural prettiness, you will also discover Ibiza’s gastronomic scene.

From chiringuitos on the beach to shady terraces in the town, you'll find something different and delicious every day.

After a day’s shopping at the well-loved hippy markets or high-end boutiques, the choice is yours: dance the night away or watch the sun set over breathtaking landscapes with a cool glass of sangria..
