Dominion English School is located in downtown Christchurch, New Zealand, behind the Cathedral and near to shopping, restaurants and transport. There is a maximum of 150 English language students. The school provides free email and internet access, and free tea and coffee at all times. There is a school piano, pool table and small kitchen where students can make light meals. Activities are available every afternoon, after school and every weekend. Students can make lifelong friends from all around the world. Students can also transfer to our sister schools in Sydney, Sydney College of English and Access Language Centre

Christchurch is New Zealand’s second largest city with 350,000 population. It is an English-style city, on the Plains. You can canoe on the River Avon and experience Antarctic conditions at the Antarctic Centre. It is near to excellent ski fields. 21oC in summer (January), 10o C winter (July).
